HISTORY

Mustafa Adıyaman’s business life begins by selling bicycle parts in Antalya Kalekapisi when he was in his 30s in 1940s. He develops his business by making new investments with all of his earnings, and he steps into automobile parts sector. As he gets into the sector, he realizes that Turkey’s automobile windshield production is insufficient. After this point, he aims to have a production force sufficient to overcome this incapacity. By straining every nerve, he sends his sons Muhsin and Hayrullah Adiyaman to Düsseldorf in order to receive technical training in this field.

In 1960s, he establishes the first workshop in Balbey District, a.k.a. Demirciler Bazaar today, with his sons’ Muhsin, Yavuz and Hayrullah Adiyaman. Production increases dramatically in initial 7 years. Hence, current workshop fails to meet physical requirements. Time has come to establish a factory with the inclusion of qualified work force. That first factory is built in an indoor area of 3000 m2 in Aspendos Boulevard in 1966. The firm’s path crosses with Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş., largest bus manufacturer of Turkey, with whom the company was going to collaborate for 25 years. Current factory becomes insufficient as a result of production, which was ongoing by growing rapidly as the windshield supplier of Mercedes buses. In 1998, this first factory that made production for 32 years is replaced by the new production facility that is built on an indoor area of 7000 m2 constructed on an open area of 20.000 m2 in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone.

TRANSITION FROM WINDOW INDUSTRY TO RECYCLING and PLASTIC PACKAGING SECTOR…

Business operations are terminated by a radical decision due to cyclical reasons in 2010. Hayrullah ADIYAMAN turns the wheel of production to a completely different sector with the participation of his sons Mustafa and Gürtan ADIYAMAN: “RECYCLING!”

This sector, which is one of the most critical legs of zero waste policies in the whole world and which develops rapidly, gives a fresh start to the firm. The goal is to return to the plastic sector the quality raw material that is obtained by recycling. As a result of rapidly conducted operations and investments, capacity, which was 150 tons monthly, increases to 500 tons in the end of 2019. As capacity gets larger, goals get bigger. In 2020, the firm makes another huge leap forward and passes to the plastic packaging sector.

YAMAN PLASTİK Production Facilities are located on an open area of 12000 m2 and on an indoor area of 6500 m2 in total in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone. The firm has adopted it as its principle to provide recycled quality raw materials and products since its establishment.

YAMAN PLASTİK, who combined its solid past and experience of 54 years with the “sense of innovation”, forges ahead rapidly with new and big goals thanks to the policies it implements, its professional personnel and its consumer oriented service mentality.

By saying WE ARE MAKING INVESTMENT IN THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD, the firm lays emphasis on the importance of the job it does on a global scale, and thanks to its industrialist identity, the firm is proud of serving to the economy of the country and sectorial goals as one of the facilities that has a solid technological infrastructure that Turkey needs.
